Android App Designing for Beginners

I decided to learn how to design Apps with Android Studio in September and had zero knowledge of java.

At first I followed some YouTube Tutorials, trying out the projects, jumping from one to another. It all seemed alien to me with the coding language. After a while things start to stick, just like learning a foreign language, even though it seemed at first as if it was going in one ear and out the other. Then did the beginners free courses on Udemy and Codelabs and some tutorial playlists on YouTube I signed up for a paid course on Udemy, which covers designing some simple apps to clones of apps that are used a lot to the more advanced apps and features.

During one of the exercises, after completing it I went through each line of the code, thinking about what I needed the coding to and went through each section of the code literally in my head working out what each part of the code did, line by line until I could fully understand it. The things I learned at the very beginning seemed to be coming back to me when I thought I wouldn’t be able to remember all of this. Afterwards I felt like I had got somewhere finally and it’s just got a whole lot easier. If you are determined, you will persevere.

So some good advice for learning, is that it’s a good idea to spend some time going through the coding as I did after becoming familiar with the basics. It does get easier.
