2014 Audi A4 Maintenance Service

The Audi A4 is one of the world’s favorite luxury sedans. The lightweight steering wheel, powerful 2.0 diesel & supple ride makes for a perfect city car as well as a comfortable highway cruiser. One of our loyal customer’s chose Cartisan for his Audi A4 Service. The customer was warned by the service prompt message displayed on the instrument cluster.

The model was a 2014 Audi A4 35 TDI. The car had clocked around 45,000km on the odometer and was due for its 3rd periodic maintenance service.

Cartisan provided the customer with a quote for the following items

The Cartisan Technician popped open the bonnet and removed the engine cover.

He placed a hydraulic jack underneath the chassis of the A4 and used it to lift the car up.

The technician unscrewed the engine oil drain nut from underneath the engine block and drained the oil completely.

He removed the oil filter from the engine block and installed a brand new oil filter from Hengst.

The Cartisan technician removed the air filter from the air filter housing and installed a brand new air filter from Hengst.

The fuel filter is located underneath the chassis towards the front of the A4, just behind the front wheel. The technician removed this filter and installed a brand new filter from Hengst.

The Cartisan technician removed the cabin filter located behind the glove compartment and installed a brand new one from Hengst.

He unscrewed the wheel lug nuts and unmounted each of the wheels from the A4. After removing the wheel, the technician opened each of the brake calipers and removed the brake pads from it. The technician cleaned the brake pads using abrasive paper and placed them back into the calipers.

The Cartisan Adviser carried out a complete functional check up and filled up the Cartisan Inspection Report. The adviser plugged in an OBD2 device to the car’s OBD2 port and used a proprietary software to carry out a comprehensive engine health diagnosis. This was done while taking the car out for a test drive. The adviser confirmed after the test drive that the Audi A4 service was a success.
